During the 2014 calendar year, the Green Iowa AmeriCorps team:

• Performed 981 energy audits

• Weatherized 490 homes

• Saved $1,778,520 in utility costs*

• Conducted 867 Education and Outreach activities

 

During the 2013 calendar year, the GIAC team:

• Performed 528 energy audits

• Weatherized 260 homes

• Saved $959,478 in utility costs*

• Engaged 2,845 volunteers

 

During 2010-2011, the GIAC team:

• Weatherized 365 homes, resulting in 12.5% reduction in infiltration and estimated energy savings of over $72,500 

• Offered 250 education programs in a variety of community settings, reaching 17,000 residents  

• Offered energy efficiency advice to 23,000 households  

• Recruited 7,400 community volunteers

• Offered their labor to assist with a variety of other community-improving initiatives
