Meet Our Sites!
Green Iowa AmeriCorps began serving Black Hawk and Linn counties with site offices in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids in January 2009. With an extremely successful first year, we opened two additional sites in Decorah (Winneshiek County) and Dubuque (Dubuque County). A new site in Des Moines (Polk County) followed in 2013. In 2016 we started a site in Iowa City! Our two newest sites started in 2018, are Milford and Davenport! With eight site locations, Green Iowa AmeriCorps' services reach thousands of households across Iowa!

The Milford site is able to serve the Dickinson County area through outreach and education, as well as free home performance audits and accompanying weatherization.
Our host here in the Okoboji area is Lakeside Laboratory. We are excited to work along side the lab in all aspects: education and community events, an emphasis on land and water, and assisting the DNR with CREEL surveys have all been possible through our partnership.
