Green Iowa AmeriCorps began serving Black Hawk and Linn counties with site offices in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids in January 2009. With an extremely successful first year, we opened two additional sites in Decorah (Winneshiek County) and Dubuque (Dubuque County). A new site in Des Moines (Polk County) followed in 2013. In 2016 we started a site in Iowa City! Our two newest sites started in 2018, are Milford and Davenport! With eight site locations, Green Iowa AmeriCorps' services reach thousands of households across Iowa!

The 2018-2019 Green Iowa Dubuque team serves the city of Dubuque and its surrounding communities - including Jones, Jackson, and Delaware Counties - through August of 2019
 

The Dubuque team is hosted by Operation: New View Community Action Agency, which provides services to low income households in Dubuque, Delaware and Jackson Counties. Additionally, the Dubuque site partners with the Assistant City Manager for the City of Dubuque Government, Gina Bell.

Through these partnerships, the Dubuque team is focused on engaging community members through outreach, education, and home energy efficiency throughout the greater Dubuque area. We are dedicated to working with a diverse community to empower sustainable living and encourage environmental awareness.
