• Keeping Green Iowa AmeriCorps labor free and services affordable for everyone, no matter the person

• Free weatherization supplies for under-served populations, such as military veterans, senior citizens, disables persons, and low-income households

• The provision of energy education events in the local community to support and/or enhance personal and community knowledge

• Recruitment and managing of local volunteers who help with Volunteer Generating Projects (VGPs) like park, river, and highway clean-ups.

• Lowering community energy costs and increasing community conservation efforts in a sustainable way
